How the scorecards work

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other stucco contractors in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a rating built on more reviews carries more weight. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What shapes stucco repair and finishing costs

None of these businesses publishes a price list, and the reviews don’t state dollar figures, so there is no cost table here. Stucco is quoted by the job. The main drivers are how much wall is involved, whether there is hidden damage behind the stucco, the texture to be matched, whether painting is included, and the height and access of the building. Ask for repair, patching and paint as separate lines.

Stucco crews around Fort Lauderdale

Stucco Kings, Nice Restoration and BFM Contractor Services are based in Fort Lauderdale, and MXL Wall Systems of South Florida works from Sunrise. Stucco Kings describes its work as covering Broward County and South Florida. Looking for a stucco contractor near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can confirm they cover your address.

What to ask before you hire a stucco contractor

  • Will you check for moisture or rot behind the cracked stucco before patching it?
  • How will you match the existing texture?
  • Is painting part of the quote, or priced separately?
  • Who will be on site during the job, and will the same crew come each day?
  • Do you carry insurance, and can you send proof?

Frequently asked questions

Which of these businesses repair exterior stucco, and which do decorative plaster?

Stucco Kings and MXL Wall Systems of South Florida repair and install exterior stucco. Nice Restoration works in decorative finishes such as limewash, Italian silk and Venetian plaster, and its reviewers describe interior walls and ceilings. BFM Contractor Services does stucco as part of commercial restoration.

Can a stucco repair uncover damage behind the wall?

It can. One MXL Wall Systems reviewer found a small hole in the stucco was hiding rotted wood behind it, and another had stucco repaired after water got into the house through exterior walls. Ask any contractor whether they will check behind the surface before patching.

Which of these businesses work on condos and commercial buildings?

BFM Contractor Services’ site names management companies, homeowners associations, hotels, condominiums and shopping centers, and a reviewer describes a condo restoration. Stucco Kings says it serves commercial and residential customers, and MXL lists a commercial stucco service.

Choosing a stucco contractor

Stucco Kings is the safe default for exterior repair or new stucco on a home. MXL Wall Systems suits a repair that needs moisture checked and painting afterward. Pick Nice Restoration for decorative plaster inside, and BFM Contractor Services for a condo or commercial building. Whoever you hire, get the scope and the paint in writing.
