How the scorecards work

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against other Fort Lauderdale tree services. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What shapes tree service pricing in Fort Lauderdale (2026)

Tree work is quoted per job, and the biggest swing factors are the height and spread of the tree, how close it is to power lines, a roof or a pool, whether a crane or bucket truck is needed, and if stump grinding and hauling are included. Reviewers on this page call pricing reasonable or fair but do not give figures, so ask each company for a written, itemized quote.

Serving Fort Lauderdale and Broward

Listed addresses are in Fort Lauderdale, and the sites of Agility, All About Trees, Manley and Allison describe work across Broward County; Agility and Manley also name Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. Allison presents itself as Pompano Beach based. Searching for a tree service near me? Each listing shows a phone number and directions so you can reach the closest option.

What to ask before a tree comes down

  • Can you send proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance?
  • Is stump grinding and debris hauling in the quote, or extra?
  • Who will be on site, and is an arborist overseeing the job?
  • How will you protect the roof, pool and plants near the tree?
  • What happens if the tree is near power lines?

Frequently asked questions

Which Fort Lauderdale tree services have handled trees near power lines?

Tree Jaws reviewers describe a large tree resting on power and gas lines, an Allison Tree Company customer had one tangled in power lines over a house, and a Manley Tree Service reviewer had a dead royal poinciana leaning toward the lines and street taken down in about four hours. Confirm how a crew coordinates with the utility before the work starts.

Who lists a certified arborist among these tree services?

All About Trees lists an ISA Certified Arborist and a tree risk assessment qualification on its site. Manley says ISA certified arborists oversee its jobs, and Allison’s site mentions arborist services. These are the businesses’ own statements, so ask to see credentials.

Do any of these companies help with hurricane-season trimming?

Manley’s site lists hurricane preparation and annual maintenance plans. An Allison customer says a neighbor books Allison for an annual hurricane trim. Hurricane season runs June to November, so ask about scheduling ahead of it.

Who grinds stumps after a tree comes down?

Stump grinding or removal turns up in reviews of All About Trees, Agility, Manley and Allison. Manley’s site lists stump grinding as a service. Ask whether it is in the quote and whether the grindings are hauled away.

Who to call first

Tree Jaws is the safe default for large or awkward removals, and All About Trees and Allison both hold a 5.0 with solid review volume. For condos and HOAs, Manley’s property-manager praise stands out. Get the quote in writing and the insurance proof before anyone climbs.
