What the scorecard measures

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated each company, compared with others in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from more than a thousand people carries more weight than the same score from a few dozen. Recency shows how lately customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives party rental costs in Fort Lauderdale

None of these companies publishes a price list on Google, so this page gives no figures. Cost generally follows the equipment, the rental length, whether delivery, setup and pickup are included, and whether a generator, attendant or tent sidewalls are extra. Ask for an itemized quote and compare line by line.

Where these companies deliver

Bounce House Broward and Premier Bounce N Slide have Fort Lauderdale addresses, Tent And Party Events is in Sunrise, Apex is in Margate and Happy and Fun Party Rental is in North Lauderdale. Between them they name Broward cities such as Coral Springs, Davie, Hollywood, Plantation, Pembroke Pines and Pompano Beach, and some also name Miami and Palm Beach counties. Searching for party rentals near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can confirm that your address and date are covered.

What to ask before you rent

  • Are delivery, setup and pickup included, or charged separately?
  • Who sets up the tables and chairs once a tent is up?
  • What is the deposit, and when is the balance charged?
  • What happens if rain is forecast for my event date?
  • How late can I change my order, and is there a fee?

Frequently asked questions

Which Fort Lauderdale rental company should I call for a wedding tent?

Tent And Party Events, Inc. and Apex Event & Party Rentals are the two whose sites focus on tents, tables, chairs and linens, and reviewers of each describe tent rentals for receptions and parties. A reviewer of Apex describes ordering a tent at short notice because of rain on a wedding day.

Do I get tables and chairs set up if I rent a tent?

Not necessarily. An owner reply on Happy and Fun Party Rental’s Google page says table and chair setup is not part of its standard delivery service. A reviewer of Tent And Party Events describes a team that handled setup and take-down, so ask each company what your quote includes.

Can I rent a mechanical bull or carnival rides here?

Bounce House Broward and Premier Bounce N Slide both list mechanical rides on their sites. A reviewer of Bounce House Broward praises the attendant on a mechanical bull at a Fourth of July party, and Premier’s site names a zipline, Ferris wheel and trackless train.

How far ahead can I change my event rental order?

It depends on the company. One Apex reviewer says changes were possible up to four days before the event, and a Happy and Fun reviewer switched to a water bounce house a few days before. Confirm your own change window when you book.

Call Bounce House Broward first for inflatables and water games, and Tent And Party Events or Apex for tents, tables and chairs. Whichever you pick, get delivery, setup and pickup written into the quote.
