Claim this spot › How the scores work
Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, ranked against other movers in Santa Rosa. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few dozen. Recency reflects how recently customers still leave reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.
What drives the price of a move in Santa Rosa
We have not found a local price list we can cite for Santa Rosa, so no dollar ranges are shown here. Moving quotes depend on the size of the home, the number of movers and trucks, the hours on the job, stairs or elevators, bulky items such as pianos, packing, and distance. Many companies on this page offer free quotes or walk-throughs, some by video, so get an estimate in writing from at least two.

- Is the quote an estimate or a binding price, and what can change it on the day?
- What insurance covers my belongings, and how do I file a damage claim?

- Can you do a walk-through or video estimate before the move date?
Frequently asked questions
Should I get more than one moving quote?
Yes. Quotes differ by crew size, hours and what is included, so compare at least two in writing. Several of these companies offer a free walk-through or virtual estimate.
Do Santa Rosa movers handle long-distance moves?
Some do. Reviews on this page describe moves to Marin County, Arizona, the Sacramento area and Livermore, and company sites list local and long-distance service. Confirm coverage and pricing for your route when you request a quote.
The bottom line
Fresh Start Movers is the safest default for most Santa Rosa moves, with a 5.0 rating on 870 reviews. Choose Mentors Moving & Storage if you need storage, or Mg Movers if you are moving delicate or heavy pieces. Whoever you call, get the quote in writing and ask about damage coverage first.
