Reading the scorecards

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other bathroom remodelers in Fort Lauderdale. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.7 from hundreds of people counts for more than a 5.0 from a couple of dozen. Recency reflects how recently customers still leave reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What moves bathroom remodel pricing in Fort Lauderdale

None of these firms posts a price list, and reviewers rarely state totals, so a dollar table would be guesswork. The biggest drivers are the scope (a tub-to-shower swap versus a full gut), tile choice and square footage, whether plumbing moves, custom glass, vanity and fixture grade, and any hidden damage found when walls open. Ask each firm for a written quote that separates demolition, tile, plumbing, glass and fixtures.

Where these bathroom firms are based

Allied Kitchen and Bath is in Wilton Manors, Paradise Remodeling & Design in Plantation and Phoenix Remodeling in Pompano Beach. Five Star Bath Solutions lists a Fort Lauderdale address. Searching for a bathroom remodeler near me? Each listing shows a live phone number so you can confirm that the crew works in your neighborhood.

Questions to ask before the demolition starts

  • Is this a conversion or a full remodel, and which of those is the quote for?
  • Who does the tile, plumbing and glass, and are they your own crew?
  • How do you handle problems found behind the wall once demolition begins?
  • Do you pull the permits, and who communicates the schedule day to day?
  • What is the written finish date, and what is done to keep dust out of the rest of the house?

Frequently asked questions

Can a Fort Lauderdale bathroom be done in one day?

A tub-to-shower conversion can be. One Five Star Bath Solutions reviewer described a conversion that was completed in a single day after the install began. That was a conversion, though, not a full remodel. The bathroom remodels that Allied, Paradise and Phoenix reviewers describe involved design, demolition and tile work rather than a single-day install.

Who does the tile and glass work on these bathroom remodels?

A Paradise Remodeling & Design reviewer singled out a tiling and grouting technician and a separate team of glass fabricators and installers. Allied and Phoenix reviewers also mention tile work as part of their bathroom projects. Ask any firm whether tile is done by its own crew or a subcontractor.

What surprises come up behind the walls in a bathroom remodel?

A Paradise reviewer described issues found behind the shower that the project team worked through with them, and Phoenix’s site lists waterproofing as part of its bathroom scope. Ask how a firm prices and approves extra work once walls are open, before you sign.

Choosing a bathroom remodeler

Allied is a safe default for a design-led bathroom and has the most Google reviews on this page, Paradise suits a larger master bath with tile and glass, and Five Star Bath Solutions fits a quick conversion. Whoever you call, get the scope, the finish date and the plan for hidden damage in writing.
