How to read the scorecard

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other flooring companies in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.3 from over a thousand people can carry more weight than a higher score from a few dozen. Recency shows how lately customers have left reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives flooring cost in Fort Lauderdale?

Flooring is priced by the square foot for the material, with installation added on top, and the final figure depends on the product, the size of the room and the condition of the surface underneath. The main factors are the material (carpet, tile, luxury vinyl, laminate, hardwood), removal of the old floor, subfloor repair, stairs and transitions, and whether installation is bundled in. Ask each company for an installed price that lists material, labor and prep as separate lines.

Where to see floors in person

Floor & Decor is on Sunrise Boulevard, Dolphin Carpet & Tile is on East Oakland Park Boulevard, Don Bailey Flooring is on NW 31st Avenue and Silent Blue Flooring is on West McNab Road, all with Fort Lauderdale addresses.
