Behind the numbers

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other painters in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from a few dozen people counts for less than the same score from hundreds. Recency shows how lately customers have left reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What goes into a painting quote in Fort Lauderdale?

Painters price by the job, and two houses of the same size can quote very differently. What moves the number is the surface (smooth walls, stucco, trim, cabinets), how much prep and repair comes first, interior versus exterior, the paint quality, how many coats, and the height or access needed. Ask for a written estimate that lists rooms or surfaces, prep steps and the paint brand and finish.

Who serves your part of town

CertaPro Painters of Broward County has its office in Davie, John The Greek Painting is in Oakland Park and Precision Painting Plus is based in Fort Lauderdale. Dolphin Painting and Five Star Painting list no street address on Google. Searching for painters near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can check service area before an estimate.

Questions to ask a painter before you book

  • What does the estimate include for prep, patching and priming?
  • Which paint brand and finish will you use, and how many coats?
  • Will your own crew do the work, or subcontractors?
  • How do you protect floors, furniture, plants and landscaping?
  • How are extra requests or added rooms priced once the job starts?
  • What is the warranty on the finish, and what does it cover?
