How the scorecard works

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with the other companies on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.8 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few dozen. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.

What shapes the price of new gutters

No prices are published here. Quotes usually move with the length of the roofline, the gutter size, the number of downspouts, whether old gutters are removed, and whether guards are added. Get each estimate in writing and ask what it includes.

Where these installers work from

Big Mike’s is on N Irving Ave in Minneapolis. Mid-State is in Brooklyn Park, Everest and Gutter Hero are in Edina, and Sela is in Brooklyn Center. Looking for gutter installation near me? Each listing shows a phone number and a map link so you can reach the closest one.

Questions to settle before you book gutters

  • What gutter size and material are you quoting, and is it custom-fit to my house?
  • Where will the downspouts go, and can you move them?
  • Will you remove and haul away the old gutters?
  • Are gutter guards part of this quote or an add-on?
  • If a roof job is planned, can you coordinate with the roofers?

Frequently asked questions

Should I hire a gutter company or a roofer to install gutters in Minneapolis?

It depends on the job. Sela Gutter Connection is a roofer first, and its reviewers describe gutters replaced alongside roofing and siding. Everest Seamless Gutters has a reviewer who says the crew coordinated with roofers before starting. For a gutter-only job, the gutter specialists on this page are the closer match.

Do Minneapolis gutter installers also put in gutter guards?

Several do. Gutter Hero Gutter Guards is built around guards, the name Big Mike’s Gutters and Gutter Covers points to covers, and Mid-State’s site lists gutter covers. Ask whether guards are in the quote or priced separately.

Do gutter installers take away the old gutters?

Reviewers of Mid-State Seamless Gutters and Everest Seamless Gutters both say the old gutters were removed and taken away. Confirm this when you get the estimate.

Can I get a gutter estimate without someone visiting first?

A reviewer of Big Mike’s says the company quoted from photos and measurements, with a visit later to confirm the color. A reviewer of Mid-State says the company president came to measure and wrote the estimate on site.

Picking an installer

Match the company to the job. Big Mike’s and Mid-State suit a straightforward install, Everest suits a full replacement or roof tie-in, Gutter Hero suits guards, and Sela suits gutters bundled with roofing. Get the quote in writing before work starts.
