We compared 16 kitchen remodeling services in Austin on Google Maps · 3 listed · How we rank

Gutting a kitchen means weeks of microwave dinners, and one Austin homeowner says a remodel that took down walls ran six weeks. The kitchen remodeling services in Austin below hold more than 530 Google reviews between them, all rated 4.9 or higher, though their reviews mix kitchens with bathrooms, additions and rebuilds after pipe or water damage, so the useful question is which kitchen jobs each one has actually done.

Short answer: Teamwork Home Designs holds a 5.0 rating from more than 180 Google reviews, including a kitchen where walls came down and the work finished in six weeks. LFM Construction & Remodeling (4.9, more than 190 reviews) is described on countertop, backsplash and full kitchen jobs, and THA Construction & Remodeling (4.9) on custom cabinetry and stone. No reviewer here states a price, so ask for itemized quotes.

Reading the numbers on each card

The star rating is the business’s live Google average, and review volume is how many customers have rated it. Confidence combines the two, so a high rating on a small base counts for less. Recency shows how recently people keep reviewing. These figures come straight from public Google data and no business can pay to change them.

What shapes a kitchen remodel quote in Austin

Reviewers on this page don’t name prices, so there’s no cost table here. Kitchen quotes mostly follow whether walls and the layout move, the grade of cabinets and counters, how much plumbing and electrical changes, and who sources the materials. A countertop-and-backsplash refresh and a full gut sit at opposite ends of the range, so describe your scope precisely when you ask for numbers.

Local showrooms and offices

Their Google profiles list Austin addresses on Cameron Rd, Thornton Rd and Guadalupe St, and one reviewer had a kitchen done in a Tarrytown home. If you’re searching for kitchen remodelers near me, each card carries a live phone number and a map link.

Before you sign for a kitchen

  • Who orders the cabinets and countertops, and what is the lead time?
  • Will my layout change, and does that need permits or new plumbing and electrical?
  • How long will the kitchen be out of use, and what is the written schedule?
  • Can I see finished kitchens that match my scope?
  • How are change orders priced and approved?

Frequently asked questions

What does a kitchen remodel in Austin cover beyond cabinets?

Reviews mention a lot of supporting work. THA Construction & Remodeling customers list a marble island, quartzite counters and backsplash, a pot filler and brass fixtures, and a Teamwork Home Designs customer had walls taken down and closets gutted. Decide up front whether lighting, flooring and paint belong in the scope.

Can a small kitchen be updated without a full remodel?

Yes. An LFM Construction & Remodeling customer had the countertops and backsplash in a small condo kitchen redone in three days. A Teamwork Home Designs reviewer who lives in a townhome says the company treated a smaller project with the same care as a large one.

Can I stay in my home while the kitchen is being remodeled?

Some customers do. A Teamwork Home Designs reviewer stayed in the house through an extensive six-week kitchen remodel and praised the cleanup, and an LFM reviewer got the crew’s schedule in advance so a cat could be kept safe. Ask where you’ll cook and how dust is controlled.

Do I choose the kitchen finishes myself?

You usually take part. A THA reviewer chose every material and finish in person, while a Teamwork Home Designs reviewer says the team guided them through material choices they were uneasy about. Ask whether samples, showroom visits and design time are included.

Picking a kitchen contractor

Teamwork Home Designs is a reliable first quote for a kitchen that needs real structural changes, LFM Construction & Remodeling suits updates and repair-driven rebuilds, and THA Construction & Remodeling suits a design-heavy, high-end kitchen. Compare itemized quotes and ask for photos of finished kitchens.
