Questions businesses ask us

Do I have to pay for a badge?

No. Every business on one of our lists has a free badge page with its badge in three shapes, light and dark, ready to download or copy onto your website.

Do you have badges for my exact category?

Yes. Each badge names the exact list your business is on, for example "Best Commercial Cleaning Services in New York". If your business is on more than one list, it has a badge for each one.

Can I change my rating or review count?

No. The ratings and review counts are the public Google numbers and we never edit them, for paying clients or anyone else. They change when we refresh the list from Google.

How was the Confidence score worked out?

Confidence shows how much weight a rating can carry given the number of reviews behind it. For example, a 4.9 rating from hundreds of reviews says more than a 5.0 from a handful. The full method is on our How we rank page.

How do I put the badge on my website?

Open your badge page, pick a shape and theme, and copy the code under it into your site. The badge links back to your business on the list, so visitors can check it.

Who gets a certificate?

Businesses that hold the #1 or #2 spot with a Premium or #2 listing, and have at least 10 Google reviews. The certificate is a printable PDF with the dates the spot is held.

I cannot find my business. Why?

The finder only knows businesses that are on a list right now. Try one distinctive word of the name, spelled as on Google Maps. If your business is not on a list yet, a Basic or Premium listing puts it there.
