What the scorecard measures

Rating is each business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against other Buffalo businesses in the same trade. Confidence weighs a rating by how many reviews sit behind it, so a high score from a large number of people counts for more. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.
