How the scorecards work

Rating is each business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, compared with the other fencing contractors on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.7 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.

What goes into a fence quote in Columbia

Fence pricing depends on the material, the length and height, the number of gates, the slope of the ground and whether an old fence has to come out. No prices are published here, so ask each contractor for a written quote that lists materials and gates separately.

Fence installers around Columbia

These contractors work from Columbia and Lexington addresses, and Brabham also has a Charleston office. Looking for a fence company near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can confirm your address is in range.

What to ask a fence contractor before signing

  • Which materials do you install, and what are the picket and post sizes in the contract?
  • How many gates are included, and what width are they?
  • Who handles removal of the old fence?
  • Do you offer financing?
  • How do you handle a mistake or a repaint after the install?
