How the scores work

Rating is the Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other Columbia businesses in the same trade. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.

What changes the price of custom cabinets

Custom cabinet pricing depends on the room, the material and finish, the door and drawer style, hardware, lighting and installation. One reviewer paid extra for in-cabinet lighting and felt it was worth it. No prices are published here.

Where these shops are based

These businesses are based in Columbia, Cayce and Lexington, and The Woodworkers Garage LLC’s site lists Irmo, Forest Acres and Chapin among the places it serves. Searching for custom cabinets near me? Each listing below shows a phone number and directions.

What to ask a cabinet maker before you order

Are the cabinets built in your own shop or bought from a manufacturer?
Is design work included, and can I see a layout before ordering?
How long from approval to installation?
Who installs, and how many days will it take?
What happens if a door or drawer arrives with a defect?
