How the scores work

Rating is the Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other Columbia businesses in the same trade. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.7 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews.

What changes the price of a bath or shower replacement

The price depends on whether you want a tub swap, a tub-to-shower conversion or a walk-in shower, the wall and base material you choose, and any extras such as seats, shelves and grab bars. One reviewer thought Re-Bath’s price was a bit high, though happy with the finished shower. No prices are published here.

Where these companies install

These companies have addresses in Columbia. Re-Bath’s site lists Lexington, West Columbia, Irmo, Blythewood, Chapin, Sumter and Camden among the towns it serves, and Bath Fitter’s site lists Forest Acres, Cayce, Elgin and more. Searching for bathroom remodeling near me? Each listing below shows a phone number and directions.

What to ask before you book a bath or shower replacement

  • Does the system go over my existing tub or replace it?
  • What is the full quoted price, and what does the warranty cover?
  • How many days will the installation take?
  • How long will my bathroom be out of use?
  • Who do I call if something needs adjusting after the install?
