How the scorecard works

Every figure on this page is public Google data as of the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average, review volume is how many customers rated the business, and confidence weighs the rating by volume so a score from a few dozen people counts for less than one from hundreds or thousands. Recency shows how recently reviews keep arriving. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives painting prices in Denver

No painter here lists prices on its site, so ask for written quotes. Quotes mostly follow the square footage, interior or exterior, how much prep and carpentry the surfaces need, the number of coats, trim and doors, and whether cabinets are painted off-site. Several reviewers say they compared multiple bids, so two or three written quotes with the same scope is the fairest test.

Where these painters are based

Vivax Pros, Paint Denver and Kind Home Painting Company all list Denver addresses, on Yuma Street, Federal Boulevard and North Corona Street. CertaPro Painters of Denver is on South Parker Road and Imperial Painters on South Holly Street. Searching for painters near me? Each listing shows a phone number and directions.

Questions to ask a painter before you book

  • Does the quote cover prep work, repairs and the number of coats?
  • Will a project manager stay on the job, and who do I call with questions?
  • Is color consulting included, and is there a charge?
  • For cabinets, are doors painted on-site or in a shop, and for how many days?
  • What does your warranty cover, and are there exclusions?
