We compared 19 window companies in Fort Lauderdale on Google Maps · 5 listed · How we rank

Impact windows and doors are common on South Florida homes, which are mostly concrete block with stucco, so the window companies in Fort Lauderdale that people search for are mainly installers of impact glass and repairers of sliding doors. These businesses hold more than 3,900 Google reviews between them, and one alone carries more than 2,200, but ratings run from 4.2 to 4.8, so the gap between names is real.

Short answer: LockTight Impact Windows, Doors, & Roofing has the most Google reviews on this page, a 4.8 rating from more than 2,200 reviews, with reviewers describing impact window and patio door installs. JDM Sliding Door & Window Repair (4.8) is the repair specialist for sliders, Republic Windows, Doors & Roofing (4.8) installs impact windows and doors, and NewSouth Window Solutions is rated 4.2. How to read the scorecard

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with others in the area. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.8 from thousands of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives window installation and repair costs

Reviewers on this page don’t state prices for windows, so there is no price table. A quote usually turns on the number and size of openings, whether the glass is impact-rated, the frame type, whether doors are included, and permit or HOA paperwork. For repairs, rollers and tracks cost far less than replacing a slider. Get each quote itemized in writing.

  • How long between signing and delivery, and when does installation start?
  • Do you handle HOA or condo approvals, or is that on me?
  • Is installation done by your own crew or subcontractors?
  • What warranty covers the glass, the frames and the installation?
