How the scorecard works

Each number is computed from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average and review volume is how many customers have rated the company. Confidence weighs the rating by volume, so a 4.8 backed by hundreds of reviews carries more weight than a 4.9 backed by a few dozen. Recency tracks how recently people are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What affects pest control pricing in Philadelphia

Pest control pricing depends on the pest, the size of the home, how many visits the treatment needs, and whether sealing or follow-up checks are included. Bed bug work and rodent exclusion usually take more than one visit. We haven’t listed dollar figures because these companies don’t publish prices we can verify, so ask for a written quote that names the pest, the number of visits and the guarantee.

Coverage around Philadelphia

Dynamite Pest Control says it serves the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware tri-state area, and City Best Pest Control covers Philadelphia and Delaware County. Evans Pest Control lists Malvern, Swarthmore, Collegeville and parts of South Jersey, and Baxter has pages for Fishtown, South Philly and North Philly. Looking for pest control near me? Each listing shows a phone number so you can confirm your address is covered.

Questions to ask before you book pest control

Which pest are you treating, and how many visits should it take?
What does your guarantee cover, and for how long?
Is sealing of entry points included, or priced separately?
If I’m on a recurring plan, how do I cancel or pause it?
Will you give me a written quote before the first visit?
