How the scores are built

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with the others on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from thousands of reviews carries more weight than a 4.9 from a few hundred. Recency shows whether reviews keep arriving.

What changes the price of duct cleaning in Salt Lake City

Price usually depends on the number of vents and returns, the size of the home, whether a dryer vent is included, and whether the quote covers extras such as blower motor or coil cleaning. Ask for the scope in writing, since a low headline offer can leave out parts of the system. No prices are published here.

Service area and addresses

Apex Clean Air is in South Salt Lake, Sanitair’s listing is on S Main St, and Air Pro UT is on W 1987 S. Sanitair’s site names Salt Lake City alongside communities across Utah. Looking for air duct cleaning near me? Call the number on each card and give your address.

Questions before a duct cleaning appointment

  • Does the quote include every vent and return, the main trunk lines and the dryer vent?
  • Will the technician show before and after photos?
  • Which parts of the system are cleaned: ducts only, or also the blower motor and coils?
  • Are there add-on recommendations, and can I decline them on the spot?
  • How long does the visit take for a home my size?

Frequently asked questions

Do Salt Lake City duct cleaners also clean dryer vents?

Yes. Apex Clean Air and Sanitair list dryer vent cleaning among their Google categories, and Air Pro UT’s reviewers mostly describe dryer vent jobs. Ask whether it is priced separately from the duct cleaning.

What happens during an air duct cleaning visit?

Reviewers at Apex and Sanitair say the technician showed photos of what was inside the ducts and explained the next steps. One Sanitair customer reports a visit of about four hours that covered a duct cleaning, a sanitize and the dryer vent.

Should I hire an HVAC company or a duct-focused cleaner?

Apex Clean Air is an HVAC contractor, so it can also handle furnace and AC work. Sanitair and Air Pro UT are listed primarily as duct cleaners. If you only want ducts and vents cleaned, ask each company to itemize exactly what the visit covers.

Is it common to book duct cleaning right after moving in?

Several reviewers across this page had ducts or vents cleaned after buying or moving into a home, and one Apex customer has them cleaned every time he moves.

Before you book

Apex Clean Air has the largest review base and suits homeowners who may need HVAC work as well, while Sanitair is the one to call if you want a duct-and-vent specialist with photo documentation. Get the scope in writing first.
