How the scorecard works

Rating is each business’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 5.0 from thousands of people counts for more than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how lately customers are still leaving reviews.
