Our take: The place to pick a slab with your own eyes before taking it to a fabricator. It doesn't install countertops itself.

What the scorecard measures

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of reviews counts for more than a 4.9 from a few. Recency reflects how recently people are still reviewing. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives countertop pricing in Austin in 2026

None of these businesses publishes prices, and their reviews give no firm total, so there is no cost table. Price follows the material (quartz, granite, quartzite or marble), the square footage, edge profiles such as mitered waterfall edges, cutouts for sinks and cooktops, and whether old counters are removed. A remnant can cost less than a full slab, according to one Texas Granite Group reviewer.

Where these shops cover around Austin

AAA Countertops is on Felter Lane in the southeast, Legacy Granite Designs on Victor Street, CRS Marble & Granite near Scarbrough Drive in the north, and Victory Countertops on Research Boulevard. If you’re searching for kitchen countertops near me, call the one nearest your job and ask about templating dates.

What to ask before you order countertops

Do you fabricate in-house, and who templates and installs?
Can I choose my own slab, and is it held for me?
Is demolition and disposal of the old counters included?
How are seams placed, and can I see a layout before cutting?
What is the timeline from template to install?

Frequently asked questions

Do I buy the slab from the installer or from a stone yard in Austin?

Both routes exist here. CRS Marble & Granite is a slab importer where fabricators and homeowners shop, and one Legacy Granite Designs customer bought slabs from a stone yard first. AAA Countertops and Victory Countertops show materials in their own showrooms.

Can a countertop company in Austin reuse or move my existing counters?

One Texas Granite Group reviewer had quartz counters removed from one house, modified and fitted into another. A Victory Countertops reviewer reused old granite for a side buffet.

Will any of these Austin installers take a small countertop job?

AAA Countertops reviewers describe a granite island for a small project and a quick on-site install for a small job. Victory Countertops reviewers mention a vanity top and a laundry sink top.

Where to start

AAA Countertops is the safest first call for fabrication and installation, given its review volume and rating. Visit CRS Marble & Granite if you want to see slabs first, and ask Legacy Granite Designs or Texas Granite Group if cabinets or remodeling come with the stone. Get the layout and seam plan approved before cutting.
