How the scores work

Every number on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, compared with other Austin solar companies. Confidence weighs the rating by volume, so a 5.0 from several hundred reviews counts for more than a 5.0 from a few dozen. Recency reflects how recently customers still leave reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives solar pricing in Austin

None of these businesses lists prices, so this page gives no dollar figures. Solar quotes depend on system size, roof layout and shade, whether you add batteries or an EV charger, and which rebates and incentives apply. Repair costs depend on the failed part and the labor. Compare at least two written designs and ask each company what is included in the price.

Who handles the utility interconnection and any rebate paperwork?
What warranty covers the panels, inverter and your workmanship?
If you ever close, who supports my system?
Can I see the written design, equipment list and total price?
Do you handle battery storage and EV charger installation?
