Two flights up with no front-door parking, a freight elevator that building management got wrong, a crew that arrives hours late: reviewers have run into all of it, and the movers in Philadelphia on this page have 3,699 Google reviews between them to show how they handled it. Ratings run from 4.7 to a perfect 5, and Broad Street Movers leads on volume with 1,067.

Behind the numbers
Every figure comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is the live Google star average and review volume is how many customers have rated the company. Confidence weighs the rating by volume, so a 4.9 on hundreds of reviews carries more weight than a perfect score on a handful. Recency tracks how recently customers are still reviewing. No company can pay to change these numbers.
What changes the price of a move in Philadelphia
Moving quotes depend on the size of the home, the distance, the crew and truck size, how many hours the job takes, and extras such as packing, stairs, elevators and storage. Reviewers on this page report very different totals for very different moves, so we haven’t listed ranges. Get a written estimate that names the crew size, the truck, the hourly or flat basis and any charges for stairs or supplies.

- What are your hours on weekends and evenings?
- What happens if the job runs longer than estimated?
- What protection or insurance covers damage to my belongings?
