How to read the numbers

The star rating is the live Google average, and review volume is the number of customers behind it. Confidence weighs them together, so a firm with hundreds of reviews is trusted more than one with a few, even at a similar rating. Recency shows how recently customers have reviewed.

What affects sprinkler system pricing in St. Louis

Irrigation quotes depend on the number of zones and heads, how large the yard is, the age of the system, and whether the job is a new install, a spring startup with backflow testing, or a leak repair. One reviewer describes an install with more than 60 heads. No prices are published here.

Where these irrigation firms are based

These firms operate from Sunset Hills, Maryland Heights, Fenton and Olivette. Green Turf Irrigation’s site lists Clayton, Chesterfield, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Creve Coeur and St. Charles among the communities it serves. Looking for a sprinkler repair near me? Ask each company whether your street falls inside its service area.

Questions before you book irrigation work

  • Does the quote cover startup, backflow testing and winterizing?
  • How many zones and heads does my system have?
  • Will you find and repair leaks, and how is that billed?
  • Do you show me where the valves and controller are?
  • How do you restore the lawn after digging?
  • Is there a written estimate before extra work starts?
