How to read the numbers

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated a business, compared with the others on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.7 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 4.9 from a few dozen. Recency reflects how recently customers still leave reviews.
