We compared 17 fireplace services in Atlanta on Google Maps · 5 listed · How we rank

A gas fireplace that won't light on the first cold night is a different job from a wood hearth that needs rebuilding, and the companies that fix one don't always do the other. The fireplace services in Atlanta below have logged more than 1,250 Google reviews between them, all rated 4.9 or higher, so the real difference is whether you need a repair, a gas conversion, a rebuild or a custom cap.

Short answer: Best Chimney Solutions in Norcross has the most reviews (4.9 stars from more than 350), and those reviews describe custom chimney caps and shrouds built and installed. For hearth work, Atlanta Fireplace Specialists (4.9 from more than 330) focuses on gas fireplace repair, and Regal Fireplace LLC (5.0 from more than 180) is described by reviewers rebuilding and renovating whole fireplaces.

Best Chimney Solutions

4.9358 Google reviews

Best Chimney Solutions is based on Buford Hwy in Norcross and is listed on Google as a fireplace store, chimney sweep and fireplace manufacturer. It has no website on its profile, so this write-up rests on customer reviews. They describe a crew that measures, fabricates and installs custom chimney caps and shrouds, including one built to fit an older, oversized chimney, and one repair of woodpecker damage on a high roofline.

What people praise

  • Custom caps built to fit, quoted after an inspection, per customers
  • A cap ordered, built and installed within ten days, according to one reviewer
  • Photos of the finished work sent to the customer
  • Fair pricing and prompt estimates mentioned by several reviewers

Worth knowing

  • Reviews are mostly about caps and shrouds rather than gas logs or hearth rebuilds, so ask what it does inside the fireplace

Our take: The largest review base on the page at 4.9, built mostly on cap and shroud work. It's the natural call for what sits on top of the chimney; for the firebox itself, check the other names first.

Where the numbers come from

Every number on this page is pulled from public Google data on the date shown, not from opinion or payment. Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business, ranked against other Atlanta fireplace companies. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.9 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a handful. Recency reflects how recently customers are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What drives fireplace service costs in Atlanta? (2026)

No business here lists prices in its reviews or site text. What moves the bill is the fuel type (gas or wood), whether parts such as a valve or damper need replacing, how high or awkward the chimney is for a cap or shroud, and whether a gas line has to be run. One reviewer reported a free assessment; ask each company whether there is a call-out fee and get the quote in writing.

Fireplace help around Atlanta

Two of these companies sit in Norcross, in Gwinnett County, while Project Chimney and Southern Chimneys have Atlanta addresses and Atlanta Fireplace Specialists serves the Atlanta area without a listed street address. Looking for fireplace services near me? Call the one closest to your neighborhood and ask about travel.

What to ask before hiring a fireplace company

  • Is my fireplace gas or wood, and have you worked on this type before?
  • Is there a call-out or assessment fee, and does it come off the repair cost?
  • Will you put the parts, labor and any gas line work in a written quote?
  • If my chimney needs a new cap or damper, do you handle that or refer it out?
  • How soon can you come out, and are you booking appointments for the cold season?
