How the numbers work

Every figure on this page comes from public Google data on the date shown. Rating is each store’s live Google average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against the other stores on this page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.7 from thousands of shoppers counts for more than a 4.9 from a few hundred. Recency shows how lately people are still leaving reviews. No business can pay to change these numbers.

What affects furniture prices in Philadelphia?

Google doesn’t list prices for these stores, so there’s no price table here. What moves the total: the brand and build of the piece, custom fabric or sizing, whether delivery and assembly are included, and any fee to haul away old furniture.

Where these stores sit around Philadelphia

The stores on this page are spread across the city: Castor Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, S Christopher Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia, Lancaster Avenue, Rising Sun Avenue and Arch Street in Old City. Searching for furniture stores near me? Each listing shows a live phone number and directions, and hours are posted so you can plan a weekend trip around them.

What to ask before you buy furniture

  • What does the delivery price include, and will the crew haul away boxes and old furniture?
  • How long until my order arrives, and what happens if a piece shows up damaged?
  • Can I see fabric swatches or samples before ordering a custom sofa?
  • Is financing offered, and what are the terms?
  • What’s the return or exchange policy once the piece is in my home?
