How the scorecard works

Rating is the store’s live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated it, set against the other stores on the page. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.8 from hundreds of people carries more weight than a 5.0 from a dozen. Recency reflects how often customers are still leaving reviews.

What changes the price of a mattress

Mattress prices move with size, firmness and materials, whether it is a floor model or closeout, and what delivery, removal and protection add. No prices are published here, so ask for the total with delivery, any protection plan and the return terms written down.

Where to try a mattress

The Warehouse is in West Valley City, Mattress Firm Outlet - Murray is on State Street in Murray, and Mattress Warehouse Utah and Purple’s factory outlet are in South Salt Lake. Ashley Store is on S 300 W in Salt Lake City. Searching for a mattress store near me? Each profile has a phone number and map link so you can check the closest address.

What to ask before you buy a mattress

  • Can I lie on the mattress in the store, and for how long?
  • What is the return or exchange policy once it is in my home?
  • Does the quote include delivery, setup and haul-away of my old bed?
  • What does the warranty cover, and what voids it?
  • Is a mattress protector or encasement worth adding, and what does it cost?
