How the scorecards are built

Rating is the live Google star average. Review volume is how many customers have rated the business. Confidence weighs the rating by that volume, so a 4.6 from thousands of reviews carries more weight than a 5.0 from a few hundred. Recency tracks how lately customers have been leaving reviews. The scorecard figures are calculated from Google data, not edited by hand.
